PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mark detection device capable of detecting accurately the position of a mark on a circuit board. SOLUTION: This mark detection device 30 is equipped with a floodlight means 31 for irradiating the mark 13 and a mark peripheral part 14 on the circuit board 10 with light L at an angle over 10 degrees and below 30 degrees with respect to the vertical direction to the circuit board surface, an imaging means 33 for imaging the mark and the mark peripheral part, and an image processing means 34 for processing an image acquired by the imaging means and calculating the position of the center of gravity of the mark. Therefore, when a solder resist S is applied to the mark and the mark peripheral part, the quantity of light reflected by a boundary part between the mark and the mark peripheral part and by a boundary part between the mark peripheral part and the board surface can be enlarged, and light reflected by the boundary parts is detected, to thereby calculate the position of the center of gravity of the mark. |
