PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a cooling water passage by utilizig an oil pan in an outboard engine having a water-cooled V-engine mounted thereon. SOLUTION: In the water-cooled V-outboard engine, external water as cooling water is fed from one water pump, branched midways, and fed to cooling water jackets in the bank of the V type engine. The upper surface of the mounting flange part 161 of the oil pan 160 is extended forward, a recessed part 163 opening upward is formed in the extended part 160a cover the lateral direction of the engine, a feed water inlet 166 from the water pump is connected between the right and left sides of the recessed part 163, and the outlets 163d and 163d of the right and left banks of the engine to the cooling water jackets are provided at the right and left rear portions thereof.
