PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming material capable of forming a transfer image having a sufficient image density, a high resolving power and no film fogging on an image receiving sheet while suppressing a transfer of a photothermal conversion substance or its decomposed material to an image forming layer even when laser recording is executed by a high energy of a laser of multi-beams, and also to provide a method for forming an image and a method for manufacturing a colorproof. SOLUTION: The image forming material comprises the image receiving sheet having at least the image receiving layer, and a thermal transfer sheet having at least a photothermal conversion layer and an image forming layer on a support. In this material, the conversion layer of the transfer sheet contains a monopolymer and/or a copolymer of a vinylpyrrolidone. |
