<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet handling device wherein a chance for supplementing a staple can be decreased and stapling work can be efficiently carried out and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped therewith. SOLUTION: Binding work is carried out at one position or a plurality of positions of a sheet bundle PA loaded on a sheet loading means 12 by a plurality of binding means 90a and 90b containing a staple. Then, by a selective means, a binding means for carrying out binding treatment is selected from a plurality of binding means 90a and 90b according to the number of binding positions to the sheet bundle PA. Besides, when selected, that having more residual amount of the staples in a plurality of the binding means 90a and 90b is preferentially selected.</p> |
