PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel supporting mechanism for an aircraft capable of alleviating impact applied to a tire during landing and alleviating impact applied to the tire when a wheel collides into an obstacle on a runway. SOLUTION: The wheel supporting mechanism is characterized by that it is provided with a suspension mechanism 3 rotatably supporting the wheel 13 in a lower end part of a support member 2 connected to an airframe, the suspension mechanism 3 is provided with crankshaft structure 5, and the crankshaft structure 5 comprises a horizontal support shaft 51 rotatably supported in the lower end part of the support member 2, an axle 52 rotatably supporting the wheel 13, and an arm 53 positioned perpendicularly to the horizontal support shaft 51 and the axle 52 and connecting one end of the horizontal support shaft 51 with one end of the axle 52.
