PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitator tank which makes the agitation/mixing of mixed mud and clear water uniform, can easily convey the mixture to a reuse plant by decreasing the viscosity of the mixture effectively, can reduce the amount of mixed mud as industrial waste to be treated, and is easy of handling. SOLUTION: The agitator tank is a cylindrical tank 1 the inside of which is partitioned into upper and lower parts by a funnel-shaped receiving part 4 with an outflow pipe 3 formed in its bottom part. An agitator 6 fitted radially with agitation blades 5 is installed freely rotatably in the tank 1 above the receiving part 4, and an ON/OFF valve 8 is fitted to the lower end of the outflow pipe 3. Moreover, a supply pipe 9 and a supply pump 10 for supplying the agitated mud to a next process are connected to proper positions of the outflow pipe 3. Preferably, a housing space 11 for a mud receiving vehicle 12 is formed below the receiving part 4.
