The positioning process has a transmitter with a set of reference signals, and a receiver with several detectors. The reference signal (di(t)) associated with a transmitter reference symbol and modulation defined by the signal format is determined, and the instant of arrival (t(k)) of reference signals found. From the detected signal and the instant of arrival, the incidence of a given transmitter is found.
