PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for a connecting side ditch capable of simply forming a ditch cover to the bent section of the side ditch in a short period at a low cost without site works. SOLUTION: The cover for the connecting side ditch is formed by fitting an annular frame 20 to a holding frame 10 and covering the receiving frame 10 with a grating cover 30 from the upper section of the holding frame 10. The holding frame 10 is composed of a doughnut-shaped collar section 12 and a cylinder section 13 cylindrically erected in the rectangular direction from approximately the central section of the collar section 12, and the collar section 12 is divided into an internal collar section 12a and an external collar section 12b by the cylinder section 13. The annular frame 20 consists of a doughnut-shaped flange section 22 and a cylinder section 23 vertically erected from the outer edge of the flange section 22, and the outside diameter of the cylinder section 13 is set in a size slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the flange section 22 so that the external collar section 12b and the flange section 22 can be fitted. The grating cover 30 is fitted into the cylinder section 13 of the holding frame 10 after the holding frame 10 and the annular frame 20 are fitted and unified, and the outside diameter M of the grating cover 30 is set at a value smaller than that N of the cylinder section so as to be brought to the state abutted on and contact with the internal collar section 12a.
