PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete tank whose inner wall surface is functionally and economically formed with a lining by combining a membrane and a steel plate. SOLUTION: An inner wall surface of a roof is lined with a membrane. An inner wall surface of a bottom wall and a straight barrel extending from a lower end of an inner wall surface of a sidewall to a gaseous phase section above the highest liquid level of a preserved liquid are lined with a steel plate. The membrane has a lower periphery hanging along a projecting region of an upper inner wall surface of the sidewall and is overlaid with an upper periphery of the steel plate for airtightly joining at the gaseous phase section.
