PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid inflator capable of adjusting the quantity of a pressurized medium and a gas generating agent according to the request. SOLUTION: An outer shell of a first gas generation chamber 130 comprises an inflator housing 101 and a second gas generation chamber housing 146, and an outer shell of the second gas generation chamber 140 comprises a second gas generation chamber housing 146. Thus, even when the request for reduction of the size and weight is satisfied, the quantity of the gas generating agent need not be reduced.
