PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield of an optical switch in which a plurality of optical path selection elements are simultaneously manufactured in an arrayed shape, to elongate the service life of the optical switch after operation, or to reduce a repair cost in failing. SOLUTION: Four galvanos-mirrors 2 are formed in a galvo unit 1 in the arrayed shape. Four galvanos-mirrors 32 are formed in galvo units 30A and 30B in the arrayed shape, respectively. Since the number of the optical paths is two, the number of galvanos-mirrors required for each galvo unit is two, but each galvo unit has four galvanos-mirrors. Accordingly, the number of galvano-mirrors formed in one galvo unit has a double surplus. |
