PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for shape measurement of a tunnel pit for upgrading measurement accuracy by photographic survey, reducing target number, shortening photographing time without using discrimination targets, and facilitating identification for each target. SOLUTION: The system and the method for shape measurement of a tunnel pit comprise a plurality of target members 2a, 2b arranged around the circumference of the tunnel 1 pit and in the tunnel passage 3, a photography means 5 with the targets included for photographing the tunnel 1 pit, and a shape measurement means 6 for measuring the tunnel shape using the images taken. The shape measuring means 6 measures the shape of the tunnel 1 pit with the intervals between the targets fixed to the plural target members 2b that are jointed by a joint member 4 used as the scale.
