BORING MACHINE RECOVERY LOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring machine recovery lock capable of recovering while positively preventing the gush of underground water and sediment when taking a boring machine at the tip into an arrival shaft in an advancing construction method. SOLUTION: This boring machine recovery lock allows the boring machine at the tip to arrive at the arrival shaft in the advancing construction method wherein the boring machine equipped with a cutting means is installed at the head of an advancing pipe and the advancing pipe is advanced and buried in the ground while cutting the natural ground. The boring machine recovery lock is composed of a cylindrical body having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the boring machine and longer than the whole length of the boring machine, a ring-like rubber plate provided at the tip of the cylindrical body and having a hole smaller than the outer diameter of the boring machine, a fixing means for fixing the tip of the cylindrical body to an earth retaining wall, and a closing cover fixedly provided at the rear end of the cylindrical body to close the cylindrical body.
