PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular saw which can easily adjust the depth of a cut and to provide a circular saw blade. SOLUTION: The circular saw 1 is constituted by being equipped with a circular saw body 2 equipped with a driving motor 6: the circular saw blade 3 provided to the circular saw body so as to be rotated with the driving motor 6: a surface plate 4 connected, in a freely pivotal manner, to the circular saw body 2 via a pin 7: and a fixing means 5 for fixing the surface plate at a required pivotal position. The circular saw can be set at a required depth of the cut by suitably adjusting the pivotal position of the surface plate 4. Linear graduations 21 connecting the edge of a blade to a central part in a mm unit are marked on a side face so that a length from the blade edge to the central part can be presented.
