METHOD FOR PRODUCING FUSION PROTEINS OF HUMAN EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR AND HUMAN ANGIOGENIN AND ANALOGS THEREOF IN INSECT CELL

PURPOSE: A method for producing fusion proteins of human epidermal growth factor and human angiogenin and their analogs in an insect cell is provided. The fusion proteins can be mass-secreted to the outside of the insect cell, so that the fusion proteins can be easily purified from the insect cell-cultured medium. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing fusion proteins of human epidermal growth factor and human angiogenin and their analogs in an insect cell comprises the steps of: (i) constructing a recombinant baculovirus donor plasmid containing genes encoding fusion proteins of human epidermal growth factor and human angiogenin; (ii) transforming Escherichia coli with the recombinant baculovirus donor plasmid to prepare a recombinant bacmid containing the fusion protein genes; (iii) transforming an insect cell with the recombinant bacmid to prepare a recombinant baculovirus; and (iv) infecting an insect cell with the recombinant baculovirus, culturing the infected insect cell, recovering fusion proteins secreted therefrom, and purifying them.
