PURPOSE: An assembly of a fan and a shroud is provided to reduce the generation of noise by minimizing the amount of counterflow of air with a gap formed between a suspended shroud and a rotating band. CONSTITUTION: A fan(10) consists of a hub(3) combined to a rotating shaft(2) of a motor(1), plural blades(4) formed on the outer face of the hub, and a band(7a) having a protruded portion(7b) extending from the outer face. A mount(38) is prepared for mounting the motor. Plural fixing units(37) are formed on the outer face of the mount. A shroud(31) is formed on the end portion of the fixing unit to keep a distance from the band. First and second bell mouths(32,33) are formed between the end portions of the fixing units and the shroud. First and second counterflow preventing members(40,41) are extended toward the protruded portion.
