摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an intrusion of a foreign matter into a boost vacuum sensor even if it intrudes into a boost vacuum detecting hole, when a throttle body is of a horizontal type with a horizontal intake passage. SOLUTION: An intake air quantity control device has a structure wherein a throttle sensor 64 is coupled to a valve stem 22 of a throttle valve 21, an intake air temperature sensor 73 is mounted in a first sensor mounting hole 71 opening in the intake passage 17a upstream of the throttle valve 21, a second sensor mounting hole 72 positioned near the first sensor mounting hole 71 is connected via a communicating passage 75 to the boost vacuum detecting hole 74 opening in the intake passage 17a downstream of the throttle valve 21, the boost vacuum sensor 76 is mounted in the second sensor mounting hole 72, and an electronic control unit 84 is connected to the sensors. In a horizontal type of the throttle body 17, the second sensor mounting hole 72 is positioned above the first sensor mounting hole 71, and the communicating passage 75 interconnecting the first sensor mounting hole 71 and the boost vacuum detecting hole 74 is bent so as to bypass the throttle sensor 64.
