PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter which can reduce a power consumption used to drive an adjusting means by a method wherein the output voltage of a battery is estimated indirectly even in the battery incapable of detecting the output voltage directly, and the adjusting means is controlled optimally by a control characteristic based on the estimated output voltage. SOLUTION: The gas meter is provided with a main flow channel in which the adjusting means used to adjust the opening amount of a flow channel is installed, a subflow channel which bypasses the adjusting means in the main flow channel, a flow-rate detection means, a control means which controls opening/closing of the adjusting means on the basis of a corrected flow-rate value obtained by correcting and processing the detected flow-rate value of the flow-rate detection means and a power supply. The control means estimates a temperature on the basis of a detection value detected by the flow-rate detection means, it estimates the output voltage of the power supply on the basis of the cumulative operation amount of the adjusting means, and it controls the adjusting means optimally on the basis of the estimated output voltage so as to reduce the power consumption. |
