PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illicit operation preventing function based on simple software alteration of a program without any addition of a new function as hardware for eliminating prize detection by illicit insertion into a large prize hole and to easily stop the preventing function if necessary. SOLUTION: While a large prize hole sensor arranged in the large prize hole 128 is made effective only during a large-prize time, the large prize sensor is made ineffective in other times. Consequently, a prize ball is won only in the large-prize, and entrance of a ball into the large prize hole in other times is canceled, so that no illicit prize ball can be won. Monitoring of entrance into the large prize hole during the play excepting the large-prize time can be omitted, and no addition of hardware such as an informing function is required. Constructive software configuration for illicit entrance detection processing is not constructed, and no erroneous detection occurs.
