PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float for middle layer fishing in which the weight of the float body is minimized and the buoyancy is maximized, and the identifiability in far distance is increased. SOLUTION: The float for middle layer fishing is constituted as follows: a float leg 1a, a float core base 1b and a float top 1c are integrated together; a float main body 1 having a pattern of various fluorescent hues is placed on the float leg 1a and the float base 1b; through the center of a transparent nude-type float body 2, the float main body 1 is penetrated, and the float body 2 is placed on the float core base 1b in such a manner that the pattern of the fluorescent hues can be seen through the float body 2; after the inside is made vacuum, both the ends are closely sealed with a silicone adhesive; and the float has a fixed fluorescent ball 5 which is fixed on the end of the float top 1c and integrated with a chemical light insertion tube 6, and a mobile fluorescent ball 4 which moves freely on the float top 1c below the fixed fluorescent ball 5.
