PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce useless exposure to a subject by controlling tube current corresponding to a direction of X-ray irradiation to an inspection site of the subject. SOLUTION: A penetration area S (S801) and an ellipticity R of a CT layer are calculated (S802, S803). An image SD of an area with the penetration area S is calculated (S804) to calculate the SD ratio of the area with the ellipticity R (S805). The image SD and the SD ratio are used to calculate the image SD of the area with the ellipticity R (S806). A target SD is specified (S807) tube current to control X-ray irradiated in the major axis at the subject's CT plane of the subject (S808). The tube current to control X-ray to irradiate in the minor axis direction at the subject's CT plane is calculated using the calculated tube current and the ellipticity R.
