PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing helping lift which can be installed with a reduced space as much as possible and fixed on the wall firmly without imparting no oppressive feeling to a bath-taking person even in a small unit bath, and to provide a unit bath. SOLUTION: Guide rails are attached on both corners of right and left which face a bathtub and a washing place respectively in a bathroom. Sprockets are arranged on the upper and lower ends of both the guide rails and an endless chain or an endless belt is stretched across the guide rails. Two upper and lower horizontal axes parallel to the chain or the belt of right and left are suspended and a seat sliding right and left between the bathtub and the washing place is installed. The sprockets of right and left on the upper end are connected by a rotary shaft and the seat is moved vertically together with the axes by rotatively driving the shaft by a motor.
