PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for childbirth which is suitable to treat a large amount of humor at one time, and in addition, is tender to the skin, and eliminates a wet uncomfortable feeling. SOLUTION: This pad for childbirth is a laminated body wherein a surface layer comprising a non-woven fabric including a cellulose fiber, an absorbing layer equipped with liquid-absorbency and liquid-retaining property, and a liquid- impermeable back sheet are laminated in order. The laminated body has at least one compressed recess which continues in the longitudinal direction at the central section of the surface layer. The liquid absorbing speed for 50 cc of a pseudo blood in the surface layer is 100 seconds or lower, and the liquid spreading in the longitudinal direction is 170 mm or higher for this pad for childbirth. The compressed recess has a width of 0.5 to 5 mm, and the length is 50% or higher of the total length of the laminated body. Also, the compression rate of the recess is 50% or higher for the pad for childbirth. The non- woven fabric including the cellulose fiber comprises a cellulose long fiber non- woven fiber for the pad for childbirth. |
