PURPOSE: A fringe field driving liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce the influence between gate bus lines and pixel electrodes by forming second common electrode lines on the gate bus lines to leak DC charges via the second common electrode lines. CONSTITUTION: A fringe field driving liquid crystal display device includes gate bus lines(101) and first common electrode lines(102) alternatively formed on a transparent lower substrate(100), a gate insulating film(103) and a protecting film(104) formed on the substrate in sequence, comb-shaped pixel electrodes(105) alternatively formed on the protecting film on the first common electrode lines, and second common electrode lines(106) formed on the protecting film on the gate bus lines.
