PURPOSE: A cylinder ring on which prominence and depression parts are formed is provided to prevent end marks from forming on a hot rolled strip to be coiled in a cylinder ring for covering a mandrel for coiling the hot rolled strip. CONSTITUTION: In a cylinder ring that is made of an elastic body and inserted into a mandrel of a coiler for coiling a hot rolled strip in a rolled coil shape, the cylinder ring(80) on which prominence and depression parts(81,82) are formed comprises a plurality of prominence parts(81) formed on the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder ring in a length direction of the cylinder ring; and the same number of depression parts as the prominence parts, the depression parts(82) are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder ring in a length direction of the cylinder ring, and the prominence and depression parts are alternately arranged along the circumference of the cylinder ring, wherein the plurality of prominence parts are spaced apart from each other in an equal gap with pitch (P) of the prominence parts being 1/80 to 12/80 of the inner diameter (D) of the cylinder ring, and wherein lateral cross section of the prominence parts of the cylinder ring is formed in a triangle, oval, semicircular or right angled triangle shape.
