FIELD: apparatuses for making grinding and polishing discs. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes upper ring and housing in the form of two ring-halves with cone outer surface. Mandrel and upper and lower molding plates are arranged inside housing. There is shoulder on lower molding plate for mounting ring-halves. Mandrel is provided with reciprocation motion drive unit. Inner surface of upper ring is in the form of inverse cone whose inclination angle corresponds to that of outer cone surface of housing. On contact surfaces of upper ring and housing antifriction coating is applied. EFFECT: possibility for eliminating exfoliations of discs, simplified design of apparatus. 3 dwg
