PURPOSE: A method for composting of organic waste materials which does not need to add or change micro-organisms for long times to facilitate management, which improves the treatment capability of the compost and whcich does not generate mal-odor is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for composting of organic materials according to the present invention comprises mixing and stirring a substrate having organic waste materials and micro-organisms, contacting the substrate with air and continuously warming the substrate to make the compost wherein the method is characterized in that the micro-organisms can survive at temperature ranged from 30 to 80 degees celsius and pH less than 5 and the pH of the compost can be maintained spontaneously in the range from 3 to 6 over the all period of the composting process.
