PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use housing space of a protector body. SOLUTION: Both of a protector body 2 and a lid body 3 are provided with rod-like tool through holes 2a and 3a corresponding to rod-like tools 13 vertically provided to a protector assembly operation board 12. The protector body 2 is mounted on a protector assembly operation board 12 by passing the rod-like tools 13 through the rod-like tool through holes 2a. Electric wires are arranged one by one in the protector body 2. After arranging all electric wires in the protector body 2, the protector body 2 is mounted while positioning the lid body 3 by passing the rod-like tools 13 through the rod-like tool through holes 3a. A protector 11 in which all electric wires are arranged is removed from the protector assembly operation board 12. A sectional shape of the whole electric wire bundle can conform to that of housing space of the protector body, whereby the housing space of the protector body can be effectively used. Furthermore, difficulty in mounting a lid body on the protector body caused by bulge of the electric wire bundle can be eliminated. |
