PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a text while replacing part of the text with marks or to display the whole text with one piece of contents data. SOLUTION: The contents data are described in, for example, a mark-up language such as XML. Tags at parts indicated by (a) to (i) in Figure are for reading out and displaying specific picture characters (mark) indicated by pict ID in mark display mode instead of the text. When a picture character is selected in the mark display mode, a pop-up window where the corresponding text is displayed is displayed. In text display mode, tags are skipped and data are generated by extracting only text data and displayed. |
