PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector connectable to an information terminal through a network that enhances the convenience and ensures secrecy of communication data. SOLUTION: A projector system is configured by connecting the projector 10 to a personal computer PC through a network. The projector 10 generates a password required to establish the network connection and projects the password onto a screen SC. A user views the password projected on the screen SC and enters the password to the personal computer PC. The projector 10 and the personal computer PC use the password to authenticate the connection and to perform encryption communication. |
