PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for correcting various inconvenient phenomena due to an image pickup lens such as a distortion aberration, a magnification color aberration or shading at the side of an image output device such as a printer for displaying, printing or outputting the image and also to provide the image output device. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with a lens barrel 100 for forming a subject image in an imaging means 150, a correction value recording means 141 for recording the correction value of the magnification color aberration, the distortion aberration or the shading due to the lens barrel 100 and output means (an exchange means 157, a recording medium interface 170, etc.), for associating the image of the subject formed in the imaging means 141 with the correction value due to the lens barrel 100 recorded in the correction value recording means 141 and outputting them to another kind of communication equipment or a recording medium 177. Then the image is recorded in connection with correcting information of the image, the various inconvenient phenomena caused by the lens barrel 100 are corrected at the side of the image output device and, then, the preferable image is obtained. |
