PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a VoIP call with another party during multilink communication with one party. SOLUTION: When the request of a call with a VoIP terminal 4 is detected during the multilink communication with a computer 3 on the Internet, in a VoIP terminal 1 connected to an ISDN line 1 having a D channel and B1 and B2 channels, a band used for the multilink communication is detected, it is judged whether a band required for the VoIP call can be secured or not, and when such a band can be secured, the VoIP call with the terminal 4 is enabled by sending the IP address of the terminal 4 to an ISP server 2 while maintaining the multilink communication. When the band can not be secured, on the other hand, one of B channels is disconnected, the B channel is assigned to the call with the terminal 4 and data communication with the computer 3 is continued through the other B channel.
