PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface function of a contactless IC card, a memory and a various-program execution function or the like and to provide other communication means when one communication means is not available. SOLUTION: When the electromagnetic induction communication module 1000 can make electromagnetic induction communications with a reader/writer 4000, the electromagnetic induction communication module 1000 receives a signal, transmits the signal to a control circuit destination 1030 through a reception circuit section 1040, and transmits a notice denoting availability of communications to the control circuit section 1030 via a transmission circuit section 1020. A host device 5000 receiving the availability of communication notice through the reader/writer 4000 transmits information as a modulation wave from the reader/writer 4000. The electromagnetic induction communication module 1000 demodulates and decodes the modulation wave by using the reception circuit section 1040 and transmits the result to a host device 2000 through the control circuit section 1030 and a host control circuit section 1060. The host device 2000 sends back information matching the received information to the reader/writer 4000 through the control circuit section 1030 and the transmission circuit section 1020. Thus, mutual communications are conducted.
