PURPOSE: Provided are a mycelium beverage and process for preparing the same characteristically by culturing Cordyceps militaris and Paecilomyces japonica in a liquid or solid medium then extracting the culture. The manufactured beverage has abundant polysaccharides of the mycelium and increases immunity. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing mycelium beverage is characterized by the steps of: inoculating Cordyceps militaris and Paecilomyces japonica into a medium containing a potato extract and medicinal herbs extract; culturing them for 3-7 days or more; and extracting the cultured mycelium then followed by filtering to remove impurities and an unpleasant smell.
