PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel of which differences of discharge characteristics between discharge cells of red, green and blue is small and color temperature is high. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel has plural pixels composed of a combination of discharge cells emitting colored light of red, green and blue. The discharge cells are formed with a front and a back glass substrates 1 and 5, respectively, opposed each other to form a discharge space between the substrates, partitions 13 formed on the back glass substrate 5 to separate the discharge space into plural spaces, electrodes formed inside the discharge spaces separated by the partitions 13 to discharge electrons, fluorescent layers 14, 15 and 16 that emit colored light of red, green and blue, respectively, as the electrodes discharge electrons. The number of cells of at least one color is different from others.
