PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such as buying up of tickets and to prevent the illicit admission of a third person by use of a re-admission ticket to a venue. SOLUTION: This admission authentication system comprises a ticket vending machine and an authentication device. The ticket vending machine acquires fingerprint data by a fingerprint input device 1. The fingerprint data are converted to barcode data by a computer 2, and printed to an admission ticket or re-admission ticket by a printer 4. The authentication device acquires the fingerprint data by the fingerprint input device 1 and reads the barcode data by a barcode reader 6. The read barcode data are converted to fingerprint data by a computer 6, and compared with the acquired fingerprint data, whereby the authentication is performed. |
