The R/G/B video signal and the predefined synchronization signal are encoded into respective direct current (DC) balanced data. The encoded data are converted into serial data streams and it is transmitted over a channel (15). The skew of the received data is corrected. Then the DC balanced R/G/B video data is encoded and transmitted so that the skew corrected data are different. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) video signal transmission system; and (2) data transmission system.
