PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyword extracting method which can extract keywords even from a short sentence with comparatively high precision. SOLUTION: Words which appear frequently are extracted from words in sentences in step S2-2, and keywords are selected from among the words based on the deviation of the co-occurrence probability distribution between each word and the words which appear frequently are provided in step S2-3. Theχ<2> test is used for verifying the significance in the deviation.
