In a step S503, the provided firmware is decoded and encoded again. In a step S504, the firmware encoded again is written in the memory region determined in the step S501. In a step S505, a maximum marker is detected, and a value obtained by adding 1 to the maximum marker in a step S506 is used as a marker corresponding to the memory region in which the firmware is stored in the step S504.
