MAGNETO-RESISTANCE EFFECT MAGNETIC HEAD AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-resistance effect magnetic head which realizes supersensitivity and low noise even though narrowing of play back tracks continues. SOLUTION: A magnetic domain control is performed at a ferromagnetism free layer where magnetization rotates in accordance with an external magnetic field by granting of an unidirectional magnetic anisotropy with switched connection of antiferromagnetism, and the effective playback track width is narrowed by disposing a hard magnetic film at an edge part of a magneto-resistive film.
