PURPOSE: A steam-heating type microwave oven is provided to prevent food from being dried when cooking the food by supplying steam generated by heating water using a microwave to the foods. CONSTITUTION: A steam-heating type microwave oven includes a body, a door, a control panel, a turn table(9) and a magnetron. The body forms an external shape of the steam-heating type microwave oven. The turn table(9) is mounted on a bottom of a cooking chamber(11) formed in the body. A plurality of steam discharging holes(31) are formed in the turn table(9). A bottom plate(15) is arranged in opposition to the steam discharging holes(31). A plurality of grooves(33) are formed in the bottom plate(15). A turn table driving motor(13) is installed at a center of an upper surface of the bottom plate(15) in order to rotate the turn table(9).
