PURPOSE: A vehicle submergence alarm apparatus is provided to prevent a vehicle from being submerged by informing a vehicle submergence state using a hand-held telephone of an owner. CONSTITUTION: A submergence sensor(10) is installed at an engine room and is selectively operated according to the amount of water flowing in a vehicle. A microcomputer(20) receives an operating signal of the submergence sensor(10) and judges whether the vehicle is submerged. A transmission means(30) is controlled by the microcomputer and comprises a message storing means(31). The transmission means(30) informs a vehicle submergence state to a hand-held telephone(40) of an owner.
