Exploiting desired geo-productive resources from boreholes comprises placing a compression plate (2) within the casing (4) for separating the pressure between a lower borehole chamber (3) and a flow-through chamber (1) lying above the plate within the casing; applying a pressure in parts of the flow-through chamber; and applying a pressure in the lower borehole chamber. An independent claim is also included for conveying hot steam from deposits comprising transporting steam through the flow-through chamber of the borehole, and using the energy contained in the steam for producing a secondary energy, preferably a current, or process heat. Preferred Features: Water or other material present in the flow-through chamber are removed before applying the pressure. The pressure is produced by introducing atmospheric pressure into the lower borehole chamber.
