APPARATUS FOR PREHEATING TUNDISH BY HIGH FREQUENCY INDUCTION HEATING METHOD

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preheating tundish by high frequency induction heating method is provided to preheat the tundish by installing a high frequency induction coil on the outer circumferential surface of the tundish to prevent high temperature of molten metal from dropping when preparing alloy powder by high pressure gas injection. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for preheating tundish by high frequency induction heating method comprises a high frequency induction coil(4) for enveloping the outer circumferential surface of tundish(3) of carbon material in a spiral shape; a water cooling cable(20) for cooling the high frequency induction coil(4) as encircling the outer circumferential surface of the high frequency induction coil(4); a refractory case(22) for protecting the high frequency induction coil(4) inserted into the water cooling cable(20); a power supply unit(19) for supplying power to the high frequency induction coil(4); and an insulator(13) that is inserted into the lower part of the tundish(3) of carbon material.
