MULTIMEDIA CALLER ID DISPLAYING METHOD USING CHARACTER IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A multimedia caller ID displaying method using a character in a mobile communication terminal is provided to transmit the caller ID using various contents to the mobile communication terminal of a called party, and to perform synchronization and display on a display window, so as to discriminate each kind of notifying service only with confirming the character of the caller. CONSTITUTION: A user produces an own character(S110). The user stores the produced character in a Web server(S120). The stored character and a caller ID are synchronized and stored(S130). The user stores the character and the caller ID in a caller terminal(S140). If the user sends a call to another mobile communication subscriber using the caller terminal(S150), character data and communication signals are transmitted to a called terminal(S160). The caller terminal and the called terminal are synchronized and the voice or character message notifying character transmitted with the communication signals are displayed on a display window, to inform the user with message receiving(S170).
