The module includes a lining panel(2) with a flexible or semi-rigid foam panel(7) and a rigid support layer(15) on the rear side. An intermediate layer(10) between the foam and support layers acts as a barrier layer to protect the foam as the rigid carrier is molded onto the foam. An Independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing the module in which a panel of flexible or semi-rigid foam(7) is molded and covered with a intermediate layer before a rigid support(15) is molded onto the rear face of the latter.
