<p>The invention concerns a method for bridging a HAVi network (1394 Bus2) and a UPnP network (IPnet4), in which both networks are connected to a bridge device (5) representing software elements from one network on the other network, at the level of the bridge device. The method comprises the steps of: - detecting UPnP devices (3) connected to the UPnP network; - creating a proxy HAVi device control module for each UPnP device for representing the UPnP devices on the HAVi network. - registering the proxy HAVi device control modules, wherein the proxy HAVi device control modules are declared as being of the legacy device type.</p> |
