Alkoxylated phenol derivatives (I) are used as dispersants for pharmaceutical or agrochemical agents. Alkoxylated phenol derivatives of formula (I) are used as dispersants for pharmaceutical or agrochemical agents. R<1> - R<3> = H, cyclohexyl or phenyl, but not all H; R<4>, R<5> = H or Me; and n = 21-40. An Independent claim is also included for formulations comprising at least one pharmaceutical or agrochemical agent, at least one compound (I) and optionally other additives.
