PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely discriminate a noise source by using formant analysis. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a noise receiving part 1 for receiving a noise source signal including an audible noise, an A/D converting part 2 for A/D-converting the noise source signal from the noise receiving part, a formant analysis part 3 for formant-analyzing the digitalized noise source signal, a formant frequency distribution statistical-database part 5A recording formant frequency distribution statistical-information of the noise source, a data matching part 6 for matching formant information output from the formant analyzing part with the formant frequency distribution statistical-information in the formant frequency distribution statistical-database part, and a display part 7 for displaying matched noise source. |
