PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display not only an over-all travel distance of an automobile but also total number of engine revolutions and total time of the revolutions in the automobile. SOLUTION: An integrated value of the travel distances in the passenger car is written and updated in an EEPROM 70, and an integrated value of the engine revolutions in the passenger car is written in an EEPROM 91, under control by a micro-computer 60. The over-all travel distance and the total number of engine revolutions are selectively displayed on a liquid crystal panel 40 based on the written data from the EEPROMs 70, 91, by a switching operation of a switching mechanism.
